Well I have searched, but haven't found a definate answer so hear goes. When I place the A/C on auto it automatically places the output on my feet. The owners manual says nothing about this happening. Is this right, or wrong thanks.

Its right. It'll put the air to wherever it thinks will help circulate air better. I think it takes in the outside air temp and the inside air temp and figures it out from there.

Once you press auto.. it'll auto-determine what's best. I quite like this feature.. except that it keeps turning on A/C.... which helps with decreasing the moisture in the cabin.. but its a waste of fuel.

What I've found so far in mine is that when I set the temp higher relative to outside air on Auto, it blows the air at the low setting (heat rises). When you set the air cooler, it blows it at the high setting. You can experiment by selecting auto and then going from a low temp to a high temp and you'll see the computer switch from the low to high setting. It does this on mine at around 72-74 deg.

ON MY TRUCK I DONT KNOW WHY BUT THE CLIMATE CONTROL KNOB ON THE RIGHT STAYS ON EVEN WHEN THE UNIT OFF
IF I PRESS THE AIR FOR THE FEET THE LIGHT WILL STAY ON FEET AND I FEEL AIR BLOWING OUT OF THE VENTS IS THIS NORMAL

I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but you can actually have auto climate control AND use whatever mode for air direction that you wish.

First, press the auto button, then select where you want the air to go......the auto light will turn off, but the temp is still in "auto mode." Then set the temp for whatever you want, and it will control fan speed and heat/a/c until it gets to that temp. If you touch the fan speed tho, it will be in total manual mode.

I also turn off the A/C and recirculated air buttons most of the time cause I rarely need either......unless it's really hot.

Yes that's normal, as air will still enter the system even when it's "off" and expel lightly through whichever vents are selected to vent the cabin....

Hmm, when I change the location the air is coming from it turns off the AUTO light. I figured that the autoclimate function got turned off?

Yes it will turn off the light.....just try the steps I posted and see for yourself......unless it's different on US models, but I don't think so. Since I figured this out, it has been the only way I use my CC system.
