clock is missing wiring harness

I just took off my dash cover to unplug my clock and send it in to the ebay guy who fixes them since mine's been out. Now I know why it's out, there's no plug!!

I could not for the life of me find the wires or plug for the clock. There is an aftermarket stereo in there by the previous owner. I didn't want to go through the trouble of taking EVERYTHING out, but I looked around everything and couldn't find it. What do I do?

If there's a time display in your radio, replace the non-functioning clock with a voltmeter.

there is a time display (well you can switch between clock and radio channel). I want my regular clock though. Why would I want a voltmeter?

I count 4 plugs and 4 connectors in the picture. What's missing? Plugging the clock connector back into the dummy plug below it is quite common. Fell victim to it myself once. Try this.... pull the clock from your surround and see which plug fits. I can't remember which it is.

I think it's the one next to the white plug.

Its there in the pic. 4 plugs 5 plug ins, or so it appears. In fact in the picture the plug touching your index finger is the clock plug. There is a dummy plug in just below the clock. Whoever took your dash apart last plugged it in the dummy plug not the clock. Don't ask me how I know this happens...lol

aaaagh. That makes me feel better. That seems like an odd reason to do so. Maybe they wanted a black spot. OK now I'll have to try it again and see if the clock works.

Now I also know that if this clock ever takes a shat then I'm going to put a temperature sensor in it like I've seen here
