Closed throttle drivetrain drag after HG work

Hi

Got my 4R back from the head gasket repair last Friday. All is well in the engine department, but a couple of quirks are new.

Transmission - It has always freewheeled with no resistance on a closed throttle in drive. I love that about it, no compression braking feeling that some autos have. Since I got it back, there is noticeable drag on deceleration, particularly below 30mph, drive vs neutral, on or off brake (at first I though it was a brake caliper freezing). In drive it drags. Smooth in other scenarios.

I presume the transmission module got a software update or simply reset all adaptions if the battery was disconnected. Will it learn my driving style and go back to the way it was?

Anyone else experienced this? What do you think is causing the braking because I cant detect that it is downshifting early, that would be an obvious cause.

Secondly, the rear window heater (and side mirrors) and windshield demister function aren't working (its possible this started a while ago but haven't driven it early morning for a long time). Rear window button light does not illuminate when pressed.

The windshield function used to pause a second then turn on strong if the car was at running temp. Now nothing happens.
These two items may be coincidence and not connected.
Rear heater - check fuse first. Anything else?

Front - could changing out the coolant have anything to do with it - heater core malfunctioning? All other AC controls/functions work.

Thanks
