Weathertech clamped onto the vendor and is making him only provide one part number per invoice on this deal.

You can still get more than one part number, you will just get two invoices.

Front and rear mats are under one part number.

The vendor sent a mass email to the original participants but since there is no way of him knowing who is new and who was originally on the list, the new signees arent aware of this.

This mainly affects people ordering 3 sets or for more than one vehicle.

This is the email I received from the vendor in regards to why i was charged $15 over.

We invoice individually because the discount for us only applies per individual product. We are aware Weathertech charges $18 dollars for 1 product and the 2nd one ships free, but unfortunately, our costs do not allow for us to include those shipping costs in the deal.

If you checkout with each product individually, you'll notice that the MSRP with the shipping price for each item individually matches the invoiced costs with the discount. You are still getting a killer deal. Let me know if you are still interested in going through with the purchase. Any other questions let me know.

Yup! Sorry to hear that, not everyone got in on the as advertised deal due to weathertech limiting the amount of part numbers per invoice. This is the first time it's happened with weathertech.

That makes 2 of us. When the terms of the group buy charged OP should have adjusted the orginal post. There should not have been hidden terms.

Just to bring your attention to this^^
We are being invoiced per set. Front and Rear are 2 sets not 1. Which means we are paying shipping per set. So I wanted 3 sets and would have to pay shipping 3 times. That brings the total discount to around 11-12% nowhere near the 20% quoted. In actuality the more you buy the crappier the deal, you think it would be the other way around. I contacted Jose but was told that that's the way it is and I "was still getting a killer deal". Its funny that some people like [MENTION=48250]ladywolf[/MENTION] are saying they are getting 20% on front and rear but others like me are not. Id be happy to post the invoices if you don't believe me. I got in on the Shrockworks GB and it was nothing like this. As I said before the truth up front would have been nice.....

I still have not received my invoice, been checking spam and PayPal but nothing has come through.

At this point I'm withdrawing from the group buy, especially after reading some of the comments about being charged shipping per set.

I ended up getting 3 sets for 2 different cars and had to pay 3 separate invoices and paid for shipping on all 3 invoices... I only ended up saving $20 vs what would have been $50+ in savings if shipping was combined. I still pulled the trigger because it was still cheaper than anywhere else but as others said, this should be made more clear on the next group buy. For those who only got 1 set, this does not affect you. 2 or more sets, you don't save as much...

I did that and the vendor split them up after the fact. Also if that's the disclaimer that's the most vague disclaimer that I have ever seen. I haven't bashed anyone, just tried to get answers only the get the cold shoulder and a "your SOL" and "that's the way it is" from the vendor(no name used). Ill leave it where it lays but it is what it is. :deadhorse:

You would think, the more sets you buy the better the savings would be but that was not the case. If what you say is true about you getting 1 invoice for the front and rear and others are having to pay 2 invoices, I can see where people may get frustrated.

No one here is bashing no one so don't know where you got that from. People are just stating the facts for those who were wondering the same or is dealing with the same situation. [MENTION=122940]ramonortiz55[/MENTION] does an excellent job with group buys and I've participated in many since my short time on this forum and never had any issues. As he stated, this is the first time WeatherTech has done this. I've also gone through this vendor before and they are legit. You can pin the blame on the vendor for not relaying the information correctly if you want but ultimately it sounds like WeatherTech was the one who had the final say.

And while the discount wasn't what I was hoping for, anytime you don't have to pay full price is a win in my book!
