This is my second time using the group buy. Again, it's a little confusing where you have to pay a shipping cost for each invoice (one item per invoice), but it is what it is, and you still save money in the long run, (although if you get the cargo liner for $86, it's a wash with the shipping).

What I find a little "questionable", is when I bought front and rears for 2 of my vehicles, I had to pay 2 shipping costs. Fine. But everything came in one package. Should've been one shipping cost in my opinion.

no doubt about it the vendor is bending people over and making money on the shipping. I ordered Front and Back combo and a Cargo area mat. I only got 2 invoices. If y'all are getting 2 invoices for front and back combo he is being very shady.

For those canceling I found that discountbandit.com has better pricing shipped than what this "deal" turned into

Just to bring your attention to this^^
We are being invoiced per set. Front and Rear are 2 sets not 1. Which means we are paying shipping per set. So I wanted 3 sets and would have to pay shipping 3 times. That brings the total discount to around 11-12% nowhere near the 20% quoted. In actuality the more you buy the crappier the deal, you think it would be the other way around. I contacted Jose but was told that that's the way it is and I "was still getting a killer deal". Its funny that some people like [MENTION=48250]ladywolf[/MENTION] are saying they are getting 20% on front and rear but others like me are not. Id be happy to post the invoices if you don't believe me. I got in on the Shrockworks GB and it was nothing like this. As I said before the truth up front would have been nice.....

I gave him the part number for the combined (F+R) set and the cargo mat. I received 2 invoices. One for the front+rear part, and one for the cargo mat. Overall it is still considerably less than going with Weathertech directly so I went through with it.

If the shipping is the issue, don't order the front/rear separately and give him the part number of the combined set. You can get that from Weathertech's site.

I did that. The vendor split them up after I sent him the part numbers stating that their discount only applies to individual products. Regardless of the savings its not what was stated.

Its per part number, not set. There is a part number for front and rear. So you should be submitting two part numbers and getting two invoices.

That being said, there was a communication breakdown between the vendor and you to only send you two invoices vs three.


But it doesn't matter anyways, since you're pretty much not participating.

I haven't bashed anyone, just tried to get answers only the get the cold shoulder and a "your SOL" and "that's the way it is" from the vendor(no name used). Ill leave it where it lays but it is what it is. :deadhorse:

The vendor isn't bending anyone down. Like I said earlier, Weathertech themselves made the vendor change the terms. So if its someone bending people over, it's weathertech.

I have used this vendor 7 times in a row for this group buy and we have never had this issue. Ever.

In fact you can go back and check out all the other threads and see nothing but positive reviews. No problems with pricing, etc.

Not in all cases, I actually looked at this link for what I was interested in ordering. The deal on this site is $11 more than the shipped price directly from WeatherTech.
