Clunk when shifting from park to drive

Issue is when I shift from park to drive, or reverse to drive, there is a clunk coming from the trans. It's even worse when the car is on a hill or downgrade. Anyone experience this? Could it be a transmission mount?

Sounds like your shift cable linkage may be ****y.

Does it shift really quickly to? If you are a little high on tranny fluid, it may shift immediately, and clunk as you shift.

Can shift cable be seen from underneath?

Also experiencing the same things any help with this issue would be awesome, doesn't seem to affect anything that I've noticed but it is a horrid sound
