Clutch Problems

What has been replaced
Clutch, pressure plate - Feb 2011
Master Cylinder and Slave cylinder - March 2011
Last Bleed of the system - Jan 2012 (Bleed 3 times)

The problem I am having is it is hard to pull it out of gear or put it in gear when I depress the clutch. This happened when I first bought it (Jan 2011) and I had the master and slave replaced because I had these problems a while back. (I bought it with a bad clutch so replaced that the weekend I bought it.) I am now having problems again as I described with it being hard to shift. Sometimes I cannot get it out of reverse so I have to shut the truck off, take it out of gear then turn it back on. Any ideas, the next thing I may do is to just let all the fluid out and replace it. Then rebleed the system.

Have you checked the adjustment on the master cylinder? Were any of the parts aftermarket? or were they all factory Toyota?

They were aftermarket parts, my dad and brother did the job when I was at college and the truck was at home. I didnt know there was an adjustment part on the master though.

Ive worked on a lot of high HP clutches in Mitsu's and coming from them if you dont use OEM parts they will fail. If the slave or master was the original issue and they replaced them with aftermarket remans that is most likely the issue. But like stated before check the adjustment. Make sure your not losing any fluid and you bleed the system really well. But for a master and slave you always want too use OEM parts.

Yep I will usually just pick up a rebuild kit from Toyota if money is tight and I don't have spare a used one that is in working condition.

After trying to figure this clutch problem out that we don't think the master cylinder was bench bled when installed. It worked fine over the summer though then started acting up in the fall and is now getting worse. Would that make sense if it wasn't bench bled to work fine then not? Another question would be, how do you bench bleed a master cylinder in a parking lot. (Im at college)
