Clutch replacement time

Well my faithful 2000 4runner needs its first clutch replacement @ 140K miles. Its slowly starting to slip. How much you pay for your clutch replacement? And at what was your mileage when you did yours?

Also, if anyone in Seattle, WA could recommend a good shop, please let me know. Thanks guys!

I received a quote locally for 600.

But it turned out it was my slave cylinder not the clutch itself. the slave cylinder was only 200.

I am the second owner of my 3rd gen, but I believe I am still on the original clutch at 204K

just do it yourself, nothing like bonding with your runner. the clutch should only be 300 bones.

gee sounds like the 99+ up have more problems i beat on my clutch like it will be free to replace and its got 180k works just fine

just do it yourself, nothing like bonding with your runner. the clutch should only be 300 bones.

Heh.. that bonding would turn into a bitter fight for I have no idea how to even begin replacing my clutch .

Any recommendation for replacement clutch?
