Coils!

Okay guys I know this is best to death but I can seem to find a thread to help me! I have a 96 sr5 and its factory with nose down. I've been looking and someone said 881 coils in front with 890 in the rear. Okay so my question!! If I get these coils will it level out my runner? I'm getting the top plate spacer for the 881! Since I've heard 883 are stiff with no aftermarket bumper. Also how much lift am I looking at total? Are 275/70/17 are doable tire size? Thanks guys hope to find some help!

I went with Speedy Garage's recomendation and I just bought my Bilstein/ tundra/ ome lift from these guys. I have no skin in the game with them just really knowledgeable people and good prices.

I have this exact lift on blisten 5100s. The front is set to the 2nd notch. Gave me 3 inches all around. Recently I took the front spacers off though because after it all settled, the rear was a little lower. Now I'm 2.5 inches up front and little less than 3 in the rear.

Awesome! So where did you find the 5100 shocks?? Did you get the adjustable ones? If so what setting? And do you know the difference on the settings??

I found the shocks on wheelersoffroad.com cheapest place I could find them. Yes I got the adjustable on the front. Think that's the only way you can get the 5100s. Bottom notch is stock height. 2nd notch is 1 1/4" lift and I think the 3rd notch is 2 1/2 inches of lift. Not sure anyone goes to that notch though. I had to put it on the 2nd notch or the rake would have been crazy. You can get the tundra 5100s on that site too. They are 2 inches longer than factory.

I got about 2/2.5" of lift with the Tundra 5100's with the TRD coils (YY/YB) on the lowest setting. It's an even 3" on the second notch

I think if you keep the stock coils, it's the 3rd or 4th notch that will get you the 3". I know someone's done it with the '99 coils. Just don't remember exactly

I went with the tundra 5100 and 02-06 trd tundra coils. On the bottom notch like speedy garage did.

Then tundra 5100 and OME 906 in the rear and bent the rear brake line down to give me another 2" of brake line.

I have Tacoma Bilstein with 881 on front (second notch) and 890s back. I got 2.5 up front and 2 3/4 in the rear. That's with my plate bumper on as well.

Do y'all think I could run 275/65/18 with about 2.5-3in lift? I think I'm going with bilsten 5100s front and rear with coils I'm going 883/890! Are 890s stiff or is the 906 stiff?

There will probably be a bit of trimming/massaging to get them to fit, but they're pretty much a 32. Actual measurement should be 32.1", which is slightly smaller than a popular 285/65/16 that measures 32.8".

Hey man quick question! I have been looking was was seeing if you could help. If I get the lift I plan on getting would 265/75/18 rub any? Or do I need 265/70/18 or 265/65/18? Also is 275 too wide? Has 18in rim for 275 too. Thanks!

To the people running 881's on the 5100's (tundra or tacoma) How do they ride? I have heard the OME suspension rides very stiff, is this the case with the 5100's? I am wondering with regards to a stock weight 4runner no winch bumper etc...
