Help IDing Lost Washer

Hey guys quick question… I’m doing my timing belt on my 02 4Runner and removed this bearing I’m holding.. believe it’s the idler bearing? A washer fell out and I didn’t see where it was located (to the front or rear of the bearing) or what size it was… just heard a ‘dink’ and then nothing. Thought it fell in my frame rail but dug around with a magnet to no avail. I’ve been googling for a half hour with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure how to find the size or where it goes.. blowup diagram maybe? I’m still looking but no luck yet..Thanks

The first attached image isn’t exactly it, not the red washer. It’d be either in front or behind ‘13505’ in the diagram.

Second pic is the bearing/pulley or whatever it’s called and where it was located

Edit…. I’m assuming it’s a real thin metric washer? Can I just use one about the size? I can kind of see an outline of a washer I think on the rear of the bearing … I’ll add pic will be third. If I just use a thin one around this size will that be okay? Thanks

As I look at the idler you're holding, I see what looks to be witness marking from the washer having been there, as you say. Plus, the washer would most likely be adjacent to the nut. In my view, a washer that closely fits would be fine. Disclaimer - I'm not a mechanic. I did do this on my 2001 maybe 13 years ago, though.

Show a photo of the other side of the pulley/bearing!

It's more then likely a washer to correctly space the tensioner pulley off the bracket. I'd try to find it if you can as it looks to be a specific size.

Also the whole tensioner pulley is usually replaced, the allan bolt is where it's removed.

I looked EVERYWHERE .. almost positive it’s not on the floor, idk where the hell it hid. I looked everywhere in the engine compartment I could thing of, rooted around in the frame rail with a magnet, and last ditch effort shot compressed air into tight spaces it might be hiding to unlodge it… it vanished lol.

But anyways I’ll add some pics of the replacement I found, let me know what you think. I had the washer that was on the bolt on the rear of the bracket, so tried to match the width of that to the one I’m missing (found out missing one goess in between front of bracket and the pulley/bearing). Not sure if it’s the correct thickness, it’s very thin.. but I’m pretty sure it’s the right size…. As you mentioned it lines up with the witness marks, thanks for the heads up on that. Just not sure if I need a thicker one or not??

First pic is witness mark on back of pulley
Second and third are the replacement washer I found
Fourth is the replacement in comparison to thickness of the other washer I still had that I previously mentioned was on back of the bracket still on the bolt.

Thank you guys for your replies, let me know what you think about the replacement… I just can’t for the life of me find the missing one OR any info online… searched high and wide on google for info on that too

Nut, washer, bearing, bracket, washer bolt. See pics. You can see the witness marks on the bearing and bracket. So it looks like you dropped the washer on the nut side.

There is a washer on the big pivot bolt though (alan head bolt).
