Nice first post !Your 4runner comes stock with a CAI getting air from inside of the right front fender but no ram air kits are out.We keep begging companies to make us a snorkel that fits to no avail so far.A snorkel is about all the ram air I would want.
The TRD supercharger will attach at the stock intake location. So stock,TRD or any aftermarket intake that attaches there now should work.
BTW ,the TRD SC that fits 5Ths won't be available til next summer.

No performance gains btw.....not worth the cost IMO.
A CAI on any vehicle that has not had the rest of the "air pump" modded - is a waste of time and money. Noise makers.
If every station in the "air pump" is modded you will get a gradually complimentary cumulative effect and even then - not what most people would probably think and trust me - it is Expensive.
The motor is an air pump. Air in - cumbustion - exhaust out.
Master that and you have the key to the power making kingdom.
It is both art and science.
The guys that are good understand the mix (no pun intended)
I have gotten a NA Camaro with a meticulously modified LS6 motor to 550 hp by modding every step from front to rear custom building every single ingredient at a price tag rivaling a completed car just to add that H.P.
IF a $250 box could do anything to a stock motor they would be selling them on every street corner.
It's snake oil.
The seat of the pants Dyno is akin to the really good looking girl paying attention to the fat guy at the bar - they both empty wallets.

Here in Phoenix you would have to call it a hot air intake since the air out on the highway is 125 degrees!
