College guy, with 4Runner blues...

Ive got season tickets to all the home games, pretty sweet deal if ya ask me, I can't wait till it starts down here... We do football... And I bleed Crimson, haha, It's gonna be insane with Saban- he gave the freshmen a speech and I swear it gave me chills- and the new addition on the stadium... I'm too pumped, ROLL TIDE!

I have been working to pay for my truck since I was 15, it wasn't given to me... I have paid for everything that has gone into the truck, I'm putting myself through school, and looking for a job down here... But then again so is every other guy around too... I know that things earned are more meaningful that things received... Thanks for the good luck wishes!

I sympathize with you about not being able to drive your truck, but with your attitude and determination you will not be broke for long and those four years will fly for you.

Awesome... I haven't been to my truck in days... You drive a 4runner? where you stayin?

so do you do anything w/ your truck? offroad? performance? a/v? I didn't see it when i went out there, i guess you had moved...

Yea I went somewhere and my spot next to your 4runner had been taken. I dont do any of road stuff since I dont have four wheel drive. I do have a lot of things inside though. From the looks of yours it seems you have done a pretty good bit to it.

I go to Rutgers but don't live there. I can park my 4Runner there, but it is not the safest area in NJ.

are you referring to the Camden or Newark campuses? NB and Piscataway aren't that bad imo.

I am on the NB campus. There aren't many cars actually stolen, but there are a lot of break-ins. There are a lot of radios, navigations systems, etc. stolen.

Ahh college, that was some fun times.

I graduated from WSU (Washington State) about 4 years ago, so I bleed crimson too. (our old coach sure had a hard time at Bama, didn't even last a year :p

I had a 1986 4Runner back then, loaded up with a JL 10" and a 300 watt Phoenix Gold amp. I liked to drive through greek row during rush checking out the sorority girls and blasting some Slayer out the back of the truck to make all the frat guys go :wtf:

Damn engineering nerds :rocker:

Ive got 2 12's and about 2000 watts so I drive by and just about everyone turns and looks.... I love it!

In college I was the guy who always drove everywhere. Unfortunately, that also meant that I drove out to the bar every night. Let's just say that the Camry I had in college got its fair share of puke, beer, liquor, dents, dings, pledges locked in the trunk, etc. Luckily, I made it out of college without a DUI, but that does not mean I did not deserve one.

If you really want to baby your ride in college, leave it where it is & consider yourself lucky that it is in a parking garage & not outdoors. Make your friends drive you everywhere & let them worry about the wear & tear.

As for football, you have a good coach in Saban, but I give him 3 years before your fans chase him off because he still has not won a national title. Bama fans are just sensible like that.

And to the Hokie in the thread, I will be in BR this weekend waiting for you! America's team is about to get put in their place.

...not to worry

Just think of all the crap you can buy after college...

Another thing, with a ride at college you have something you can offer beyond what the other guys may have.

......Emphasize your "P... Magnet (Borat!)".
