Color Keyed Running Boards - Southeast Toyota

has anyone from the southeast Toyota region seen the color keyed running boards for the 2014 LE?

its a $699 option, but I cant find a picture of one on a 2014 LE vehicle?

I haven't. I live in Raleigh and have been looking the past month. I am in the process of upgrading from my 2011 SR5 to the 2014 SR5 Premium. All the LEs I have seen have the ones that retract once the door is shut.

That is alot of money for an ugly running board. That just looks like the "Toyota Accessory" runningboard that has been painted. IMO, those Toyota Accessory running boards don't go well with the 5th gen. They almost look like a cheap aftermarket runningboard adapted to be installed on a 4Runner. There are much better looking and less expensive options out there

that's just a pic I found using google images which lead me to amazon page, so I don't think it reflects a true oem part.

that pic looks like a cheap knockoff using a can a spray paint of a regular oem running board.

now when you go build a SE Toyota 4runner, you can get a dealer option for a color keyed RB, hence the call out to someone that actually has or seen/pic of a true oem version.

now if it looks more like the lexus gx460 integrated running board for that price, sign me up

You could just get your OEM one's painted for probably couple hundred dollars at most. But I bet those would take a beating from road debri especialy here in the Northeast so they would be short lived.
