That's pretty cool. I work for Terumo BCT (we make equipment for blood donations/processing/therapies) so I know first-hand how important donating blood is. We also do a lot of work with/for Bonfils... pretty cool of RM4x4 to hook that up! I'll be up snowboarding this Sunday, but I'd definitely like to meet the RM4x4 group though... maybe next go around.
Aaaand yes, SNNNNOOOOWWWWW! I don't care so much that we get it here in Denver, but we definitely need it up in the Mountains! :reddance:
Any fellow snowboard junkies on here?

What part of Iowa?? I lived in Des Moines for almost 4 years. It's where I bought my 4Runner.
I'm in Castle Rock and only shiny when I wash it. Every once in a great while I see nice built runner down here. Oh, and mine has seen many days off the pavement.

I know exactly where you're talking about. Very cool. While I do love Colorado (and can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live), there was just something about Iowa. I really did enjoy my time there.

i actually used to be down in red hawk but i'm up near kipling and 470 now.
We definitely need to have a meet sometime soon and maybe have a trail day while we're at it! I need to get out on the trail, its been almost 2 years! I need a break in the new rig, i don't think in its 12 years of life it has been on a good trail.

Ahh, you're out past Chatfield. I've got a couple friends in that same area. Cycle guys (the non-motorized kind). I live on the south end of town in the Plum Creek area. I didn't really wheel this summer because of the fire ban. The only reason I really go is to camp (and I normally camp a lot). I like to go to open camp in the Nat'l forests because I don't need showers/toilets or babies crying or dogs barking or drunk guys hollering at each other. That's the whole reason I built my Runner...to get away from society. I used to have a good friend that I'd go with, but he moved back home to MI. So, needless to say, I just haven't really had the desire like I used to. Hopefully we get some darn moisture, or next summer will suck too.

New owner here, 2013 SR5 in Blizzard White Pearl. My wife bought the 4Runner to be her commuter car but we've quickly decided it needs to be the all-purpose family skiing/camping/trip vehicle. She even said the other day "after driving it around town, I kind of want to take it on a 4x4 trail!" Yeah, she's awesome 
We're tucked away in the little Cole neighborhood, just east of Downtown Denver. Anyone else in the 'hood?

I'm in Capitol Hill! I have a buddy just a bit further east of you... how do you like Cole? It seems like it could be a cool spot, there's a lot happening over there.
I'd be willing to wager a reasonable amount of money that growing up in MN taught me more about winter driving than CO ever would have. Just be thankful you're not dealing with Oregon drivers - it snows 2" once per year in most the state, yet so many of them drive around in studs from October to May... including the Police.

Perhaps your correct. I live up by Steamboat springs and I drive over Rabbit ears pass and Cameron pass often. After the trip I made this weekend.....I dont think you could learn much from anywhere else. I dealt with pure whiteout conditions, pure sheet ice on a 7 percent downhill grade, wind that caused both a whiteout of the road and froze snow to the drivers side of my truck to the point where I could not see, along with about 20" of fresh powder on top of the pass. The trip usually takes 4 hours instead it took 8. And there were a few pucker occasions along with the fact that I almost witnessed what would have been a horrific accident between a semi and two suv's. It was my first big bad storm in the 4th gen t4r. We have a done a few in our 3rd gen and I can honestly say I felt more confident in the 4th gen. Sorry fellow 3rd gen owners.:sobbing:
At least we got some much needed moisure! I got about 16" at the house and they are calling for another good storm on Xmas eve. Looks like we will be making the same trip over the pass too......yay!

Checking in from Glendale (25 & CO Blvd). Finished installing my OW 2.0 kit, LR UCAs two weeks ago and got the BFG AT installed before the snow. The stockers just weren't going to cut it another snow season.
I see T4R of all gens and stages of mod each day on my drive to work in Aurora. Most recently a 5Gen coming out of the municipal center in Aurora. ICON lift, I believe ARB bumper, wheels and tires, dark grey color... first time I liked the 5Gen.
When I moved here someone joked that at the border they issue everyone a 4R and a dog.
