Colorado: Get out of Dodge

Looking to get of dodge this weekend, since I'm about to pull my hair out due to work (good thing I keep it short) and wouldn't mind some company. You just have to put up with taking photo's at random times.

Where: Bonanza Off-Highway Tour
When: Saturday, July 28.
Time: 8:00 am
Meeting location: Shell Gas Station at the intersection of US 5O and the 115

Looks like I'm in. Would you take 24 thru BV or 115 thru Penrose? I'm in pueblo so if you come down 115 I could meet you in Penrose. What time do you want to hit the trails?

The trails were great. Need some ground clearance and tight turning radius in a few spots but no real difficulty. VERY scenic.

Ya, that was the way I was planning on heading.

It's there a gas station at the the intersection of 115 and US 50?

I wanting to head get down there early. Meet at 730 down in Penrose?
 
I think there's a gas station/strip mall on 115 just before the 50 onramp. I'll have to see what exactly it is. 730 works for me.

What's the plan for the day? I might be able to rearrange some things and go with you guys! Still working out some details.

That would be awesome if you could come. I want to get out there and run at least the toll road and whale hill. Smallfry, could we move it back to about 800 tho? I need to trailer a few appliances early that morning.

800 should be okay.

Whale Hill is one of the ones on my list to run.
 
Looks like I'll be joining you guys! Do we have lunch plans or anything? I'm going to bring my dog, Forest, so I don't have to worry about getting back by a certain time. It's adventure time!
 
I'm trying to decide whether I want to pull my front swaybar or not for this trip. I know I don't actually need it off for these trails but I figured it would be a good time to test it out.

I don't think that I would with all of the highway driving needed to get there. I'd think that testing it out locally would be better than getting an hour away from home and wishing that you had it. You still have the stock springs, right?
