Colorado: Get out of Dodge

Yeah stock springs with spacer. I already took it off, drove, and reinstalled it. Kinda scary without it on. Like steering a boat. I'll only do that for local trips that will actually benefit from having it off.

Sounds like a good time. Wish I could make it down that far south by 8am. Would like to at least get some new tires on my 4R before doing anything like that. Two more weeks and I should at least have that out of the way.

Acidmeld, I'm thinking about running the same lift as you at some point. Will be curious to know if that's enough. I love the look of 3" ToyTec lifted rides, but I know that realistically I just don't need anything like that. At least not yet.

My spacer lift has worked pretty well so far. The geometry of the stock suspension is extremely good. Good enough that I didn't really need alot more flex, just needed more ground clearance. For the money it's the best cheap lift. I only spent ~150 on it and installed it myself.

The two things I learned on this trip is that vsc/trac control sucks and the Wilson 'Lil' will mag mount cb antenna can take a beating.

Looks like a nice trip. I'm headed out to Colorado next week and thought it would fun to do a few trails like this. I just got the truck so I'm wondering if running all stock, including tires, will be a problem? Thanks.

You should be fine. I would probable air down a bit to help smooth out the ride.
