Colorado

Congrats. we was up there last weekend, pretty crowed but fun.
Any plans for the new rig?

Yeah I live right off Guanella pass so the traffic is like a highway this time of year.

First is get some OWL A/T tires, and a proper level kit, maybe small lift. Then I am feeling the Harbor Freight cheapo basket along with ARB 2000 awning and room set up. Then a Victory front bumper replacement with a decent winch.

Truck already goes about anywhere that set up should solidify the cause.

I have a G20 conversion van I am putting some work into so I can sell next spring.

2011 4Runner in Denver- need 4wd help!

Hello!

Recently purchased a 2011 4Runner. Used 4WD last week, and the indicator lights on the dash did not illuminate. I confirmed the mechanics are working correctly at Groove Toyota today (had to take it in for an airbag recall anyway).

They told me they had never seen this specific issue. They did some initial testing, but because the mechanics are still functioning, they weren't able to diagnose it. I declined further testing which would require removal of multiple interior panels/dashboard assembly since it is functioning. They indicated it could be a computer issue which is $1500-2000 to replace.

Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?? Trying to educate myself before paying for further diagnostics.

Thanks!

It could be the flash relay or fuses. here is a link that could help.

New to wheeling, and have a build in progress. looking for anyone who goes wheeling and who might have some good tips as far as armor, suspension, and if anyone runs with a rear drawer setup as well.

Jake,
plenty of info on the forum here just search. When it come to most things, everyone has their own opinion, but for me, Ive ran toytec lifts stuff on 3 different rigs now and LOVE them oh and they are local lol.
I had a rear drawer / sleeping platform on my 99 it was great and will prob build one for my 07.

Hello all,

New to the 4Runner world. I had a nice '04 Rubicon years ago and started looking for another. Test drove a few new ones and just didn't like them. I remembered about the 4Runner, test drove one and bought it. We got a '19 TRD Offroad Premium. We love this thing.

I already have C4 Rock sliders and a remote start on order. In the next 2-3 weeks it will get a Toytec lift, 34's and full RCI skids. Can't wait to get it up in the hills and out to Moab.

Really nice truck. welcome to the forum.

Anyone's on here?? I don't have my 4Runner anymore but kind of geeked out when I saw this one lol. Looks like it gets some good use! I was curious of mileage and how it's holding up :)

New member here from Steamboat... although I am not new to tearing up Routt county on wheels. What is your favorite trail in Routt?

Hey there. Thought I would introduce myself. I live in South Denver Metro area. Sold the Xterra and picked up a 19' SR5 Premium. Air intake, tinted windows, front deflector, wheels, and some OCD organizers so far. I miss the Xterra, but the 4runner is growing on me. Not into hardcore offroading but hoping to do some day trips and eventually some overlanding.

16 years and almost 230k miles it served me long, well, and in the end, completely. Everyone walked away from this. Fortunately he was only going about 35-40 MPH and I caught a glimpse of him and reacted by cutting hard right (was making a left turn) to try putting the rear of the truck towards him. That might have spared us injury and an unpleasant airbag deployment.

This past Saturday I re-upped my membership in the 4Runner owners club. This is my new 'card':

A 2020 TRD Premium. Couldn't afford the KDSS suspension unfortunately. Still, being a TRD I'm eager to see how it handles off road and getting familiar with the new gadgets it has.

That's scary, glad everyone is ok!!

You will love the new truck

I do and yeah, we got lucky because that could've been much worse. Biggest injury was my left leg and it was pretty mild. It stopped hurting after a week with mild meds.

Bleh... Trying to reset my password on this forum so I can log in with my browser and it's not working.

Denver Area - ECGS Bearing Removal Removal Tool To Lend?

Hey everyone,

We are moving to Costa Rica and getting the 2004 Sequoia ready for me to make the drive...

Anyone have an ECGS bearing removal tool available to lend? Needs to be for a 7.5" front diff. According to ECGS if you have an 86-2002 T4R, your removal tool should work.

Thanks!

Well no one from here wanted to hit a trail so we hit up Jenny Creek.
