Colored Toyota 4Runner Emblems

I'm not sure which forum to put this in but here goes.

I have a 2000 4Runner Limited and I would like to change all badging, front and rear Toyota Logo, Limited 4WD etc to a different color. I would prefer them to be red or something different. Is there such a thing or do I just need to sand and paint mine?

Plasti-Dipping them is going to be the best way to do it. There's PLENTY of videos for this on YouTube that will walk you through step by step!

Did some quick searching for Plasti-Dip badges and it appears to be some pretty amazing stuff. I like the fact that I dont have to remove the badging,

It seems very easy and straight forward, has anyone had any issues or tips for using the stuff?

Do a few real light coats instead of fully coating them on the first pass. If you're planning on keeping them colored then I would gI've them a light sanding before just enough to give the surface a little texture.

plasti dip is very strong. i had it on a set of wheels for a couple winters and tons of car washes and no issues. It super simple to use and dries fast, make sure when doing your emblems you use a tooth pick to cut close to the letter to make it more clean. Also wipe the spray nozel off with a towel/shirt after each use to keep it clean.

I also have it on my current badges and go through the car wash every other day and thats with those cloth beaters hitting my car.

Tape off the area around it very well and pretty far. I sprayed my bumper on a breezy day and I had overspray all the way to the driver and passenger front door that I had to clay bar off...
