I went to buy a Warn a couple years ago. My "friend" that worked at 4WP talked me into getting a Shittybilt with a lifetime warranty. It's worked okay but still wished I would have got a Warn.
If I shit in a box and put a warranty on it, it's still a box of shit.

CV boots and more
My cv boots tore on both sides and were leaking grease.. i put some hose clamps on them a month or two back but that was only a temporary fix. I know how to do it but im just limited on time so i took it too my family friends shop and i decided to put a whole new axle assembly on so i know everything is nice and new so i can put it to the back of my mind.
On a good note ill be heading up the my cabin out in western PA and we have some decent trails up there and ill have some pictures from that :bluejump:

Just bought these for my front bumper. They are 4" so they should fit right in the holes for the the lights.
They were a good deal and I need lights for my bumper to fill the empty spots. They should work good. Let me know if you have any opinions or ideas

Great looking build, love the red toyota emblem. Small details make the difference!
I'm still undecided on ARB or 4xInnovations but I guess when the money is there I'll make the decision lol.
As for winches, Warn is a great brand but don't forget SuperWinch. They make a great product as well.
Those KC's should fit and look great, although I'm a PIAA guy myself.

Thanks man :biggrin1: i would go with piaa but i think for a whole kit its a little over 300 and these kc's were only 125 for the whole system so it was pretty much a steal

There was some rubbing and i got good enough so rubbing is non existent or very little
Do you know the dimensions of the Pro Comps?

They're 16x8 with 4.00" back spacing and -12.00mm offset and they are 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern

It was very quite simple I just had a hell of a time because my drill died on me and there was a lot of extra wiring in the wire harness that I didn't need so I just zip tied it all. And of corse I didn't have the right drill bit so I'm going to have to go buy one for my power drill so I can drill some mounts into the bumper. I guess that's what I get for rushing into it... If I would have had everything it would have taken me 30 minutes lol.
I had to take the lights off for now just so I can get a drill bit for the right size then I'll mount them perminatley

I also took some measurements of my truck from ground to flare just to see how much of a lift I actually have...
Front right
Rear left
Turns out I have a little more than 3.. To my knowledge and my research, after people put there OME coils in with 285's they're measuring like 37 -3/8" or around 38. Mines about 39. I guess it also depend what coils they have and what wrap but mine just seem a little taller.
Could someone give me some feedback or some measurement of their 3rd gen? Or just correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not too concerned at all actually. I just know it's bad for your cv's and boots if it's over like 3.5" of lift and since I just replaced my whole axel assembly I don't want to do it again lol
