Alright guys. I'm back in the Toyota game after being a Jeep guy the past couple years (I'm always back and forth between Wranglers and Toyotas....). Got a 2014 TE. This is my second 4Runner. I had a 1998 Limited 4WD before this. Here's a picture of my '06 LJ Rubicon that I just sold.

Here's how the 4Runner looked when I picked it up from the dealer last week. Got some BFG KM2 takeoffs from my buddy's JKUR 10A and got the dealership to put them on for me.

I've got some Rocky Road Outfitters' sliders on order, and I already got the front windows tinted. Planning on putting a Gobi Stealth rack with a 30" LED bar on the roof (copying Harkco's build a little!).

Only other plan right now is some type of leveling kit or lift....not sure what yet though. I really only want to level out the front a little bit.....suggestions??

Love you old LJ Ruby even more. That is a dream, keep it forever, can't replace it vehicle. I bet you got top dollar for that beauty. I had a TJ and had to sell it too to get my 4R. No where near the prize of a Ruby LJ. A red one at that!!

I have a nephew that lives in Silverhill. Never been there but need to go see him. He is a BIG time Auburn fan, so by default, I am too.

I would suggest looking into getting some Bilstein 5100 shocks. I got mine for about $360-380 (I can't remember exactly) for all four. Install the fronts on the 1.75 setting (there are 3 options, 1.75 is the middle) and this will
1. level your truck out
2. get rid of that awful "nose dive" when you hit the brakes
3. give you a comfortable ride both on the off road

Oh, you're gonna love this 4R. I love mine. Able to carry all the gear and passengers that the LJ couldn't, go the same places as the LJ and no death wobble...haha....

Guessing by the fact it's red he probably pulls for that school with an elephant as a mascot. Don't know how it is in AZ, but saying war eagle to the wrong fella is fightin' words. Lol.


All joking aside, I've had 4 wranglers, one being a rubicon. I miss them all differently. I just bought the TRD pro 4Runner yesterday. I hope I'll enjoy it. Nice vehicles wombat. I love the grey. Go SEC. And may the real tigers win this weekend.

The tires are the same size as stock (265/70/17), so no rubbing.
