Project completed!
One thing to point out. When you try to remove the 2 bolts in the grab handle, FIRST TURN TO RIGHT a bit, then turn to left. you have to do this until you get the bolt loose. There is thread lock!!!

Took the +12V from the wiper fuse. Grounded to the dome light bolts.

Final picture is the sensor...

Also notice the driver side roof grab handle!

I hate you.....you have the white trk w/grey interior.....I wanted one like that but they are hard to find....I have the white w/tan interior.....anyway, where was the mirror pic I didn't see the finished product.....I like the driver's overhead swing handle.....

Here is the result. I used the celica mirror and changed the units to Celsius. The celica mirror has larger numbers/letters. I need to calibrate the compass again.

I didn't have to use the plastic cover to hide wires.

The new mirror is at the same height as the old mirror, but it is slightly wide so my passenger side visor hits the mirror if I try to push it all the way to the windshield.

Over all this is great! I am going to put one in my car too.

Dash cam is next to it. I am going to use the +12 V line coming to the mirror to power up the dash cam and GPS, so I don't have to worry about wires hanging in the dash
