Just had the Compustar remote start and secruity installed today...Works really good and I was able to keep all the factory functions..

With the alarm's remote, can you roll down the back window?

Not only can I roll it down I can roll it back up with the remote..

That is awesome. Where did you have it installed? Do you think a local Circuit City or Best Buy should be able to install it? They carry other brands not Compustar tho.

Not sure they only usually carry DEI products (I'm not a big fan of DEI). Compustar is one of the if not the best. They have won innovation awards every year for there products. If you can find a Compustar dealer go that route..

I guess I should chime in here....

I have the viper remote start and have rear window roll up/down with the remote as well.

There are two wires that run to the window motor that were tapped into (at the point of the rear window motor, not under the dash.)

I may have the colors of these written down at home, if not I can pop the back open and tell you which two to tap into.

But it works like a charm with the remote.....

And yes circuit city or best buy should easily be able to do it....but I was told they charge additional $$$ for these things. I had mine down at a local shop near Philly for $350.00.

Window control is an extra $100 around here in Western Mass... I got 3 different quotes and that was about the average.
