Concel Carry

I have a 2011 T4R and love it the only thing I can not figure out is how to conceal my Glock 23 other than in the arm rest which makes it awkward to retrieve. Any suggestions?

Not sure about "concel carry" but if you're looking to put a Glock some place that's not on your body while driving:

I have also seen left-handed holsters bolted to the left side of the center console (and retention options abound). That would put the pistol by the driver's knee.

I have my conceal carry permit in NV and I also have a G 23, personally I carry mine in the cross draw position when I am driving, if I have to go into a federal building or a building that does not allow weapons I put mine in the center console.

I keep my LCP in the side pocket on the door, or under my leg. I also have a Console Vault for when I cannot carry where I am going.

If I am out camping, I also carry my M4 and H&R 12ga in something similar to this:
Classic Accessories Heritage Vehicle Gun Case, Back Seat Gun Case, Water Resistant Gun Case, Rifle Gun Case

x2 for me and my past vehicles. Gun is always on me (hip, inside waistband), never in the car unless it is a place that i can't carry.

Just out of curiosity how come you don't keep yours in your holster attached to your body while driving? If you were to get in a 10-50 your unsecure sidearm is going to fly all over the place and could possibly cause a AD... Not judging just wondering.

I have thought of that, and it is definitely a real danger. The LCP is a pocket pistol, so the holster I use is only designed to keep the trigger from being pulled when drawing from the pocket (it catches on the pocket as you pull the pistol out, leaving itself behind in the pocket). Using that style of holster the weapon would have to stay in my pocket, making it next to impossible to draw in a situation in which it was needed.

What about when you drive you keep it in your pants with the clip attached to the zipper. Just reaching towards your zipper/fly might be enough to freak the bad guy out.

If only it were that easy. This happened right in front of us, about 6 cars forward. **** can get crazy really fast, almost too fast to comprehend what is happening.

Wet Okole seat covers offers as an option, a "pistol pocket", which is sewn into the front of the seat cover of the driver's and/or passanger's seat. Kidding aside, I'll be keeping my gun in between my legs.

My LC9 fits nearly perfect in the slot in front of the cup holder in the center console. Its there or my waistband anytime I am out of the house.

Does anyone know of a locking center console style safe like the Tuffy products? I had one in my FJ Cruiser and loved it.

The LC9 is a great little gun. It has a very long trigger pull, unlike a striker fired gun like a Glock. It takes some practice to get used to it. It shoots very straight and has little recoil. It's a perfect piece for daily carry and easy to conceal. :thumb3:

If you like the LC9 but want a better trigger look at the m&p shield. Also Look at this link for ideas. I love the ALS holsters for retention but simplicity.
