Confirm that SWI-PS powers illumination

I am getting ready to pickup a SWI_PS to interface into the steering wheel controls and wanted to also see if that will power the illumination for the switch buttons as well or do I need to also power up an additional circuit to light them, thank you

The unit itself does not power the circuit... connecting one of the factory wires to ground completes the circuit and illuminates the controls. This step is included in the instructions however...
