Confirm wheel fitment please...

We just picked up a 2015 4Runner SR5 and will be installing an Icon Stage 1 kit with factory UCAs. I'm planning on running 285/70/17 Duratracs. Can anyone confirm that the pro comp 7032 in 17x9 -6mm offset and 4.75 backspacing will fit without a spacer? Anything else I should be concerned with besides rubbing? I've searched all over this forum and sent several PM's without responses. Thanks!!

Not sure exactly what/how much rubbing with the -6 backspacing. Probably manageable, but... A spacer (assuming you mean wheel spacer?) will make it WORSE not better. The further out the wheel is the larger the arc it occupies so the outside edge of the wheel will hit the inner fender etc more.

The 5th gen tire fitment guide (see below) shows that with stock -13 offset it will posibly rub some, so at -6 it'll be a little more. The lift itself doesn't fix much rubbing, if you turn your tire that you have now till the outter edge is at it's closest point to rubbing something. Then imagine the body up 2-2.5 inches, you can see the clearance there doesn't change much if at all. The lift improves body contact above the tire but not so much in front or back. (Atleast between 0 and 2.5 inches)

Thanks. Not too worried about the rubbing. It should be better than others running -12. I just want to make sure they won't hit the caliper or anything with the 4.75 backspacing and require a wheel spacer to compensate.

This is not my rig. They apparently have the same suspension, wheels, and tires, but I can't confirm if they needed wheel spacers or not.

Factory TE rims use 4.875" back spacing so you should be ok. It's at the bottom of the chart in the Tire Fitment Guide. If I know the backspacing I don't bother with the +/- offset as that just adds to the confusion for me. If you can subtract the backspacing from the rim width it will give you that offset from center also.

(9" - 4.75" = 4.25") That .25" difference is 6mm (25.4mm - 1").

I just got ICON Stage 1 and Pro Comp Phantom's with the same specs.

Minor trimming on the mud flaps, otherwise good so far.

Rim FROM: +13mm offset Stock
TO: -6mm offset
13mm+6mm = 19mm = .75 inches

The tire center will sit .75 inches outboard of stock. Plenty of clearance to the suspension components. Not so much clearance when wheel is turned to the wheel well. Throw in the upsized tire at .4 inches outboard (.8 total width increase) and ~.6 larger radius.

Let us know how it works out when at full lock and stuffing a tire. Without aftermarket UCAs it'll be interesting to know what caster you can achieve and if you can alleviate all rubbing.

Good luck and let us know!

Will do. This is the wife's rig so we figured the stock UCAs should do the trick as long as it aligns.
