Connecting speakers to an Amp

Sorry if this has been talked about, but the search function for "amp" turns up nothing (obviously a glitch!) I am trying to install an amp underneath the driver or passengers seat, to power the front 2 speakers (2 sets of components... so 4 speakers). Can anyone point me to some previous threads, preferably with some pictures, so I can see what I'm getting myself into? Thanks
