Console Vault - secure storage

Hi ya'll,

Was wondering if any of the current members are rocking a "Console Vault" brand secure storage unit? I havent seen anyone on this forum talking about it, but i randomly came across this unit while searching the interwebs for things i could get for the 4runner.

I ordered one for the premise of storing gas money while on roadtrips, or wallets/phones/ect while camping/swimming/hiking. I'm also looking at getting my CCW and this would be used for storing a firearm sometimes.

Anyone who has this, would you like to chime in?

Otherwise, anyone else interested in a review after i receive it?

I neglected to mention, i did see a post from a number of years ago on this forum regarding this companies products positively, but there was little 4th gen representation.

If you bought one a few years ago, i would be really interested to hear your opinion about it now (if it has changed since purchasing)

Meh I had one given to me and well never used it or even installed it still sitting in the package. My gun never leaves my hip for any reason unless I'm in the house. Personally i don't believe any gun at anytime should be left unattended in any car even for 2 minutes to many unknowns for it to walk off.

Anyone with a bit of knowledge knows its a three piece safe and just sitting in the center console not connected to anything. its a matter of just breaking the plastic around the safe to remove it. and we all know how easy it is to break down the 4runner center console in what 10 seconds.

If you have time to remove a stereo you have plenty of time to remove the safe.
