Control Wire HELP!

hey guys my sub is all set to go i just need to find out what to do with the control l=wire that runs from the back of the amp to...i dont know where im supposed to wire it to!!!!!:bash: PS: keep in mind im wire re****ed

If you have an aftermarket head unit, it may have a connection for that.
So your amp turns on when you switch on the head unit. If not, just wire it to the ignition 12v. (not the battery, permanent 12v).

It only needs a small gauge cable. unlike the power supply for the amp.

Ok, i'll try, on the back of the cd player there will be 2 power wires.

If its aftermarket, the wires will be yellow and red.

Yellow is permanent power, used for the memory,

Red wire is the power wire, it connects to the ignition.

You need to splice the amp control wire into the RED wire.

If its a factory head unit, its the same procedure except you need to splice into the GREY wire.
