Cool all terrain p rated tire

:dammit: I just bought mine few weeks back!!!!

Where did u find them Cheaper than DTD

I believe it was tirecrawler.com for ~$139 + ~$19 shipping.

Although seeing the invoice today where they mention the 'found it lower' price match, I'll be surprised if they redeem the $100 rebate.

And clearly, by the fact that I purchased them, I also do not believe that P tires are 'inferior to an LT all around."

My passenger/car tires lasted me 10 days before a sidewall blew. Never again on an off road vehicle. Sidewalls are paper thin on P. E only for me. Ill take the mpg hit for safety all day long

It's all about the right tire for the application.

But didn't you blow out a Duratrac, too?

Sure did. Same wheel. I will never again roll on anything other than E's. So far so good. Im sure it is overkill for most but peace of mind for me is priceless.

I decided not to get tires yet. Still having vibration issues in steering wheel with Michilin tires (dealer put on after Bridgestone vibe).

I'm scared that cooper will make vibe worse.

Ugh...

Do a little research before you post something like this. If you find some evidence to prove Jb wrong (you won't) cite your sources for a shred of credibility.

This is good advice for fact-based discussion in general. It should be made into some sort of dude rule.

It is the general proposition of resting propositions of fact on some evidence. The specific instance in this case is immaterial.

Your post reminds me of this from the Air Force years ago:

This is transcribed from an Air Force training video on the topic of missile guidance. The actual sound track is here: http://asuwlink.uwyo.edu/~jimkirk/guidance.wav

A similar text was published at http://www.afmissileers.org/newsletters/NL1997/Dec97.pdf (page 5) where it was attributed to the Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM).

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.

In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.

The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
