Coolant from end of Hose

I just noticed that I am leaking coolant from the end of my upper radiator hose. It's not the connection. The coolant is actually bubbling out from the threads where the hose was cut.

My question is this: I need to drive 150 miles tonight and don't have the ability to let the engine cool down, change the hose, and bleed the system before getting on the road. What are the odds that I will make it? It's only bubbling right now, not really leaking much or dripping.

Take an hour, change the hose. It will be worth it.

Or at least carry some leak stopper, coolant, and a spare hose and enough tools to change it on the side of the road if you need to.

Check the rest of your hoses too, chances are if one is going, the rest may be too.

x2, take the time to change it. What's a slow leak now can turn into a gusher without warning. You have a 3.0, and you cannot risk overheating that motor unless you want to change a lot more than a radiator hose.

You'll spend a lot more than an hour if you are broken down on the side of the road!! Don't chance it, fix it.
