Cooper Discoverer AT3 285/70/17....Anyone?

I'm really interested in the new ATW for my next street tire set, but I'm at least a year or so away from being due. It appears they are the same tire as the ATP only with more siping. To me that's a big benefit.

If I'm not mistaken, the AT/W is only available in Canada. I had the same thought and looked into these a few months back. I suppose it would be possible have a set sent down or smuggled in.

I wrote Cooper Tire inquiring about the A/TW in May and got this response.

Good morning and thank you for taking the time to write to us regarding the addition of the 285/70R17 to the A/TW line-up. Your timing is perfect! We will be adding that size, in both standard load and load range E depending on the fitment, in August. So check with your local Cooper dealer around that time and they should be able to order it for you.
