Cornfed 3/2 and Duratrac 275/65/18's installed. More Rubbing after alignment?

So I got this combo installed and am fairly happy with the results. I got an alignment today and as others have reported I am getting rubbing on the back side of the passenger side fender. This is only when reversing with the wheel cut about half way to the right. The shop noted that they couldn't get the caster far enough forward on that side and that it would need a shim for the upper and lower control arm to move it forward any more. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on what to do here? If I cut the wheel all the way to the right it doesn't do it. Just when i cut it just enough so that the back of the tire catches on the fender while backing up and/or on a downward incline. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

just went out in the parking deck at work to look at it again. I think I might be able to gain just a hair more separation from the back of the tire and the fender by putting the bolts that held the mudflaps back in. Looks like they kept the bottom of the fender in place as well. I still think it's going to rub though.

What I don't get is this.. Specified range for caster is 2.5 - 4.0. my before on left side was 1.1 and after was -.5. On the right side the before was .8 and after was 1. Why would they only be able to move it .2 on the right side and then go 1.6 in the wrong direction on the left side?

Not sure on the caster thing....but my tires do the exact same thing you describe in reverse. I say leave it, it's only rubbing on plastic and for maybe 3 seconds when your in reverse. It's not going to hurt anything

That's some terrible caster! If anything, they should have at least attempted to put them at the same settings... it must drive pretty bad. My caster max'd out at 2.7 on both sides with only 2" of lift. It handles pretty well... stable at speed, but I've still considered aftermarket UCA's.

Honestly, I'd try a different shop.

it pulls to the right a tad and the steering wheel wobbles slightly at 50-55 mph. anything above or below it doesn't wobble. is that from the alignment? i think the tires are balanced fine because it doesn't shake the vehicle just the wheel.

I don't think I can just leave it and forget about it. I'm obsessive over that kind of stuff and the fact that its happeniing less than 1% of the time isn't enough to stop me from obsessing

went to someone I trust a little more today and paid for another alignment (yes I just bit the bullet). They basically told me that I needed to ask for my money back from the other place. They got everything in spec (more than just the caster was out of spec). It doesn't pull to the right now that I can notice. It seems to ride smoother. The steering wheel doesn't wobble. And most importantly, they moved the right tire forward far enough so that it isn't rubbing on the BACK side of the fender where the mud flap was. It was now rubbing on the front fender when turned to the left and reversing. However, we all know thats an easy fix with a trusty blade. So 5 minutes in a carwash parking lot and that problem is now GONE. So I think I can officially say I don't have any more rubbing.

Here's one. There were 22 pounds worth of tires in the back still and the sun was going down. I'll try and get a few better shots tomorrow. Haven't been getting home from work until late this week though so it may be this weekend.
