Thanks for the pics, looks great.

With 3F/2R, does it sit level, or higher in the front?

Looks like it could still be nose down, only slightly. Maybe it is the driveway. I think the Revtek still comes the closest to providing a level look.

I emailed some pics to Bobby, so hopefully he can get them up. theres not too many of them. I got a pic of the front spacer but couldn't get one of the rear as I only have my digital SLR and didn't want to get under the truck with it. my point and shoot isn't around right now. nose is still a little down (more noticeable on these pics as the parking spot points a little downwards towards the front, like the pic above dose), but it definitely raised it up. ride so far feels great.

It appears there is an optical illusion concerning the 4th generation. The hood is raked more dramatically than the stance. So, you can level the stance but the hood still slopes downward making the overall rig look raked forward.

I like the aluminum of the Cornfed spacer, the level stance of the Revtek and the overall height of the Daystar. Now if somebody could just package all these requests into one XREAS compatible package, I'd be sold.

I guess the color of the rig also determines if optically your eye follows the hood compared to the raised height. IMHO, the silver looks somewhat level while Peds rig looks slightly nose down.

When my XREAS dies, I am starting to like the idea of EMU or Donahoe over the spacer idea.

In the spacer pic it appears you have developed two minor leaks from the top of the absorber. Is that liquid or just a smooth spot that was formed during installation(look in between the coil)?

Looks fine to me. When the lift goes in, you get some areas cleaned really well and looks brand new. Other areas stay dirty.

man that scared the crap out of me. i ran out to my truck to take a look. no leak! the line on the right is the seem of the rubber cover and the line on the right was just a cleaned part/streak. that would've been the last thing I needed!

looks like a big preload spacer adn a small (1/4") top load spacer.

WHy did they install the stock coil spring isolater between the coil and spacer?? Instead of between the spacer and top plate. It has 3 indents where the top studs go, which is now wasted adn the top isolater couls have gone between the coil and sapcer which are smooth surfaces.

Guess no biggie.

How was the other side? Did you inquire as to the reasoning behind the installation method?

I'd love to get your driving impressions as I'm leaning towards cornfed.

other side is the same. i haven't talk to cornfed about this. it rides great, no problems. perhaps a little stiffer?, but pretty much still feels like the nice smooth ride I had before the lift.

So i just ordered this kit from Burtman Industries, and I cant wait to get this kit installed. I was worried from reading the previous posts that it would take some time for these spacers to be fabricated and sent out to me, so I went ahead and msged Jason. He made sure that all my questions were answered and personally contacted cornfed to process my order. I would reccoment getting the kit from him.

Swapped out my Daystar front-end lift with the complete Cornfed lift last night and couldn't be happier. The ride is only slightly firmer and I'm not dragging @ss everytime I head up a steep incline. The shop I used was really impressed with the quality of Cornfed's lift and you can't beat the price. Like Blink I got my kit from Burtman who is a first class guy.

I'll try and post some pics in the near future. Man, I need some new tires! :bash:

im a new member and been reading a lot about lifting a 4th gen. i was leaning towards revtek but now in a dilema between cornfed. is there much difference besides revtek coming with rear shocks and the cost.
