If you have 699 to spare, I'd recommend OME (coil and shock). That is the shipped price that you can't beat and it replaces the entire shock and coil so it'll retain the stock ride feel (esp for SR5 - obviously it doesn't apply to xreas vehicles because then u'd have to remove the xreas).

keep in mind that using spacers will make the ride harsh so if budget is your bottleneck, get some cornfeds as I give them 2 thumbs up over any other spacers

im a new member and been reading a lot about lifting a 4th gen. i was leaning towards revtek but now in a dilema between cornfed. is there much difference besides revtek coming with rear shocks and the cost.

OME's lift the about 2-2.5" I think. Not sure of the exact measurements but it's roughly the same as the spacers (in general).

The biggestt difference is cost obviously since OME's will change your shocks and coils (non xreas vehicles will be ideal candidate since you don't have to deal with the xreas lines).

I wouldn't add spacers on top of these OME's as they were designed to work as is.

The Cornfed is 3" Front & 2" Rear. The more I drive my T4R with the Cornfed, the more I LOVE it! It firmed up the ride of my SR5, but it is definitely not harsh.

good times- where can i purchase the ome setup for that price? not that the spacer lifts sound bad but i planned on puttung new shocks on anyway, so i think the ome is the way i should go.

thanks everyone for your input, since im on a slight budget and don't do much offroading i decided to go with the cornfed lift. i dont think ill be dissapointed. i ordered it today from burtmans and cant wait to have it installed. next comes new tires. any word on the nitto terra grapplers...

On th Cornfed Website, under PRODUCTS, 2003+ 4RUNNER, there is a 4th Gen. 4Runner with my same rims (enkei 20"s), and (assuming) the cornfed lift.

I wonder who's truck that is and if they have more pics? Does anyone here know?

yes, you can keep xreas with the lift as with the revtek and daystar kits as well. i have the cornfed on mine.

Thanks for the tips on the xreas, now if I can just get a measurement from one of you guys with the Cornfed on how high your luggage rack is after lift? I need to know if this thing is going to fit in my garage. thanks.

If your garage door is a standard height of 7 feet, then you will have no clearance problems. You do need to be careful however when you open up the rear hatch door while in the garage. With the door open and stowed up top, the rear hatch does not fully extend and will touch the garage door. You don't want any inadvertant scatches!

Thanks guys, yeah, seven foot door, I was just afraid the rack might wack it. If one of you gets bored, if you could just measure quick for me, that would be great. Looks like this may be my ticket. Lift and some BF's for Xmas. I love your Joas front bar as well, how happy are you with it?

If I get a chance I'll measure tomorrow, but I'm positive you will be okay with a 7 foot door. I have the lift and larger Revo's on my Runner. And I love my Jaos bar--wasn't sure at first about spending that much money, but it was worth it in the end. I really would like to get the skid plate now--mostly for looks! But, I'm headed on vacation soon, so I've got to put my priorities in line for the time being.
