Correct chassis grease?

I am the proud new owner of a 2001 Limited, and very happy with it! It had no owners manual (on order), but I want to perform some service tomorrow. What is the correct chassis grease for the drive joints, etc? I understand there were some differences between the model years. Thanks for the help, I have found this board to be a wealth of info the the newbie!

I just used a universal HD grease from Amsoil. Has worked well so far...

But I have a TSB on the subject, for the '99 model year. If you want it, just email me....

Toyota recommended plain NGLI-2 grease for the u-joints and NGLI-2 with Moly disulfide for the slip yokes in the 3rd gen vehicles. I used a grease with Mo2S for everything on my '98.

The Mo2S recommendation disappeared when the 4th gen model appeared. Never the less, I've kept on using it on general principles.

Valvoline makes an excellent synthetic NGLI-2 grease with Mo2S added, which is what I've always used. BTW, the only greasable points are the u-joints and slip yokes (on 4WD models). These should be greased at each oil change.

F*ing Karl, having a nice new porsche GT3. I was happy with my daily beater, my off road toy and my 07 Z. Now ive got to find another job so I can get my dream Porsche. Props to you. Do you have any videos of inside or outside car? Running the car??? Those would be great if so. I have a few of my Z but nothing great yet. Take care
