You can lift a Ford Super Duty an a Dodge Ram really high like 14'' to 18'' lift and 40's just fine with out a drop adapter and dope case, the 4Runner is no different :thumb3:

Hous many inches forward are you moving the front wheels? Looks like a pretty good amount. I wish someone would design a front ifs knuckle for these trucks to shove the wheel 2" forward...

Ok, so do you have an estimated lift height? I understand if you're building it as you go because there's a lot of custom fitting going on, I was just curious if you had the numbers figured out since it looks like you've got the links mocked up.

Does D4-D mean that 4cyl? I hope not.. Can't imagine that being enough power for 40s.... unless the turbo was upgraded and the boost was at the absolute limits....

Will be curious to see how it comes out either way.

So back in the day I had a 4 cylinder Pick up on 44's, 570 gears and Steel wheels as Aluminum wheels were not that easy to find (yes I am old). I put over 75,000 miles on that truck and never had an issue on the highway. It was a 4 or a 5 speed can't remember and I just never needed to use 4th or 5th gear.

So yes it had plenty of power to move those tires and it even had plenty of power to do the Mud Drags at Union Grove Drag strip almost every weekend.

Hell yeah man my other 3rd Gen 4Runner is ready for that trip it has 4wheelunderground front 3 link and rear 4link
