Couple exhaust questions

I have a 2003 4runner sports edition 4.7 v8

I'm running complete stock exhaust but I want to get a new muffler

I'm looking at getting a flowmaster super 10 muffler but when I look at sites they say It won't fit my car. Is it possible to get the 2.5 in and out for The super 10. Anything suggestions on what to do. I just want a new muffler and a turn down at the end. As loud as I can get

Realistically, anything "loud as it can get" is going to drone. That Super 10 will drone. Maybe sound slightly better than with a muffler chop because of the chambered design. But really, both will probably be loud enough to a point where your neighbors will hate you regardless of which you choose. You can probably chop the rear cats while you're at it for extra volume. How you pass inspection will be something you'll have to figure out.

Check out super 70ii flowmaster almost same size as oem not much cutting & is comparable to oem , you don't want the drone , cool for awhile BUT gets old quick .Costs a little more but worth it IMO !

If you want loud and want to go the Magnaflow route get a 14" Magnapack. I've tried the 18" (12256), then the 14" (12158) before finally going w/ the 14" Magnapack (14419) on my V8 1st gen Tundra. It's deep, throaty and loud.

These Flowmasters are supposed to be very loud. It is a performance muffler. They are recommended for off road use, but no one will keep you from driving on the roads. I know someone who has one on their 4th Gen T4R. So it is possible. Anyone know if it is legal? My state law says nothing with "excessive noise". How loud is that? If there is a legal muffler on it, shouldn't it be okay? Hard to quantify excessive noise.

Good choice in T4R. In my town the trucks with the loudest pipes,dark tint, and black wheels get the most attention from the police too! All my sons have been stopped and questioned for nothing. Latest excuse was his front two tires were past the line at a stop light. After two hours of searching his car he was told to leave. The seat backs still don't stay on.
So the old man in me has to ask do you really want all the extra attention?

Just investigating. And honestly, they wouldn't be that drawn to it in my area of town, there are so many bigger and badder trucks and even SUVs than mine. What do you think about the new exhaust system? Maybe a Flowmaster Super 10?
