Coverlay Installation for Cracked Dashboard (video)

Have you already installed one?

Really interested in getting my sticky cracked dash covered, my only concern is how it will hold up to the heat inside the car when the sun beats down on it.

No issues with mine, it actually does not get as hot as the original dash.

Has anyone had issues with the dash part hidden behind the door cracking? Not sure how to fix that area.

The door jam on the passenger side. I just looked and it looks like it covers that area. Btw, it looks like RockAuto increased the price on the Coverlays to $156. Wish I had ordered it earlier...

Maybe so. The coverlay is actually flush at the bezel, it’s the side near the window vent that’s the issue. It’ll be clearer when I post pics. Still need to get the airbag cutout piece installed too. Waiting until I can do it in the daylight lol.

I have a 2004, thanks, I am aware of the frame lawsuit but my frame is in pristine condition since it's never been out of the southeast, but I do let others know about the lawsuit and direct them to Bell's website.

You are lucky. I live in Northern VA and I have a few holes the size of golf balls in my frame. I have 316+K miles and the rest of the truck is mechanically great ... then there's the hood paint and the dash.
