My exhaust hanger came loose and melted the hose from the gas tank to the Charcoal Canister. $70 for the set of two for the canister.
When I disconnected the old hose from the canister, the FITTING IS MELTED!
Crap.
The canister was fine and I expect it still is. I may be able to plastic weld a new fitting tube on the canister, if I can find one.
Does anybody have an old (non-functional is fine) charcoal canister I can use as a donor for the fittings transplant operation?
