Crawler and multimode t-case

I just bought a 2000 4Runner to replace my 2001 taco. I'm pulling the crawler out of my Tacoma before I sell it and am thinking of running it in the runner. My question is, has anyone ran the marlin crawler "taco box" with the multimode transfer case found in the runner? I know the multimode is longer than the standard J-shift, was curious of other differences.

Thanks for the link, just trying to find out everything I can about putting the crawler in the 4runner with different T-cases. Thanks!
