Good point. It looks like the coil overs are mounted in the trunk area. He must have at least partially tube framed the back? Or something... :what:

Seems like he would run a longer shock if he was going to go through the trouble of a tube backhalf/bedcage style setup. Strange

Yah, just looked at it again.... what's with those 'floor jack lookin' brackets/mounts? They don't seem to connect at the same points....

In the pic, the right side looks like its floating, and the left doesn't even have a 'head', but looks like it's melded into...something...

And, where is the link?

I definitely see the beads welded on the bottoms, but can't identify the links themselves, but it looks like it isn't finished yet anyway, and they were setting bumps or something, because the shocks appear to be set up for dual rate but only one spring is there.

Is it me or did they just chop the frame off? And if so how did they mount the rear shocks? Also there is no front driveshaft hooked up too!

To me the shocks are going through the body and are mounted inside the cab. The driveshaft and gas tank are missing due to clearance. When you flex like that the driveshaft will hit the gas tank way before it an flex that far so they are most likely adding a f150 tank or custom fuel cell in the back.

Just saw this on Four Play (Facebook):
