Creaky Suspension

My 99 makes some noises when going over speed bumps. I recently changed the front and rear shocks/struts, but it hasn't improved the creaky noises. Are there bushings or some other components that can cause the issue? It drives and handles perfectly otherwise. More of just an annoyance.

Mine does it too, I can relate to the annoyance. I first removed the sway bar to see if that was it. It helped a little, but not much. I then sprayed silicone grease in every possible crevice in upper and lower control arm bushings. Helped for a little while but then came back. So for me I think it is one of those. I'm just learning to live with it though as the labor to replace those is quite intensive and not a priority for me at this point.

Good luck with yours and post what you find.

Worn control arms bushings will cause it. Are you able to pinpoint if it's coming from the front or rear?

x2 on the control arm bushings. They are pretty easy to press in and out, or you can get the whole arms with new bushings installed for a higher price tag.

Inspect the bushings to see if any look worn. Do a search and you'll see plenty of write-ups.
