Crossbar part number

My wife has a 2017 SR5 Premium, and it often gets used on road trips more than my truck. The downside of course is the lack of cargo space as compared to a truck.

For an upcoming trip I'd like to use a cargo box.

I'm guessing I need the crossbars I googled below, but wanted to confirm with the experts. I'm also guessing this is something that is not upgraded often, therefore I can save my time trying to find used ones.

hi - I believe that is the correct part number. up here in canada those are MSRP for $240 if you believe it ... $90 on BAM, damn.

many people actually upgrade those cross bars to something more sturdy - so there should be a good used market place. a carbo box MIGHT be tough to fit on those crossbars because they are low to the roof (might not be able to get the clamping feet around them). also those cross bars can bend a bit and if you have a heavy cargo box up there you might notice it bouncing a bit at highway speeds

If you want a very stout solution I would suggest looking at yakima or thule cross bars. they sit higher up but are very versatile (and more $$$) but worth it. I had thule wingbar evos which I loved, but then switch to an LFD set of bars because they sat lower (I had clearance issues with my cargo boxes on the thules). the versatility of the thule track system is great, and you can find them used as well.
