I went to the doctors the other day for a back-ache. I was in too much pain to actually turn around and the back camera was obscured with salt residue...I backed into a parked 2009 Honda Accord. It totaled the Accord's bumper but left no visible damage on my 2013 4Runner TE. My trailer hitch must have done most of the damage.

Before I drove away, I found these 2 parts on the ground under my trailer hitch...have any idea what they are?

By the color, I would guess the one on the left is from the Honda. I think the one on the right is also from the Honda but check your bumper, it might be for holding the plastic cover in place.

The "waffle thing" is definitely from my car, I saw it fall out from under my bumper cover when I shook it.

The pin on the right is the same as what they use to keep the shroud at the front of your engine compartment in place.

On the TE rear bumper there's a trim piece over the bumper itself. I'd be willing to bet those pieces are part of what holds that trim piece in place on the inside of your bumper.

I was just rear ended over Christmas and I had the exact same plastic part fall off the back of my 4runner as in the left of your photo. I believe it is a clip or part of the cover on the lower bumper cover that clips into the larger bumper. (Number 1 in the attached picture if you don't understand what I'm attempting to say clips into Number 2)

I Believe the push pin on the right also is to help hold the same cover (1) to the main bumper (2) I believe. I know the auto body shop that fixed mine had to put the "pins" in right before they gave me the keys back and although I never saw them they appeared to be push pins when he popped them in. I would not doubt they look just like the one in the right hand side of your photo. There where two, and one was on each side of the hitch, on the bottom of the bumper.

Based on the repair, I believe the cover and clips are:

Rear Bumper Cover Retainer - Part No. 75392-0R010 - $2.80
