I think it is about that much for the box. I think it would be a good idea for you to call Benjy or Sandy at the shop to make sure that "mass" producing this box is something that they can do or handle.

That's funny you should post that today.... I just finished building and installing two custom boxes for my two Kicker 10" L7's about an hour ago. Each has around .83cuft. I'll post pics and measurements soon (I have a rats nest of wiring all over the 4R to hook up for my speakers first). Total bill off the top of my head was under $75 for materials for both.

Forgot to add: the boxes are not that stealthbox design (built into the rear panel), but rather, sit behind the rear seats.

Has anyone contact the shop? I've been looking around for sometihng like this. Building one from fiberglass is such a pain. I would rather purchase a custome PnP box but not like the Stealth. I still want to use my double rack.

What did the box run? I'm in if it'll run less than what a Stealthbox would cost.

Ya, that is badass! I wonder if they could fab one for the left side as well to have duals?? Do you know if that box is specifically designed for the Solo-Baric (BTW a great sounding unit)?? It would be tough to run a traditional sub in that small of an enclosure I would think?? They should seriously consider marketing those...

by the way, the solobaric 10" is perfect. It provides a lot of bass from a small box, and doesn't overpower you (unless you want it to). I have a hard time feeding it too much bass.

I have another brand new in the box L5 10" if anyone is interested! They go for $249 on crutchfield. I'd sell this one for $149 plus shipping.

I called up the shop today to ask if they had specs on the box and if they were willing to sell them. I spoke to the installer who did the custom work on digphisher's ride and he said this install requires 2days at his shop. The install is completely custom and he does the work of the top of his head, no specs and no notes from previous install. I wish they could make these for retail to some of us, but I am going to take some of the pics I saved and bring them to my installer, either Ultimate audio or audio excellence.
