Silvr Bullet was nice enough to print up some prototypes to get a feel of scale to help speed up the process. That is what you are looking at. We would be waiting another month without his help. I am not sure what type of printer he has. His material is sandable. You could always plasti-dip them too
I am still waiting on a Shapeways print made with "Strong & Flexible Black Plastic" which comes in a "slight matte" to verify its finish. Of which I will post pics when it arrives next week. I paid just over $20 for the print including shipping. Obviously printing in silver or gold is going to cost more than $20.
Okay I will reiterate what I am doing here. I am not making a bunch of these and selling them. I am simply designing the model and setting this up for everyone as a thank you to the community. You will pay whatever it costs for Shapeways to print them, I am not making anything out of this venture (aside from a couple of prints).
You will go to Shapeways, choose how many 3d prints you want, what color, and what material you want it made out of.
There are about two dozen different materials you can choose from. You can get polished plastics to brass, or hell bling it out with 18 carat gold.
