Talked to Toyota customer service today about my 2003 Toyota 4 Runner Ltd. I noticed a couple of days ago that my dashboard is cracked from one side, by the driver's side, all the way across to the passenger side. The SUV has been garaged kept and looks new except for this LONG crack. Toyota says there is nothing they can do but they did give me a reference number for the complaint after I said I knew that they had other complaints but I guess they just ignore them. Not sure what my next step will be.

It is not just "related", but the EXACT same issue. Many of us have the cracked dash board issue. Apparently, many Toyota vehicles of the years 2003-2005 have the same issue. My neighbor has a 2004 Sienna with... you guessed it, a severely cracked dash board. Unfortunately, the only option you have besides leaving it be, is purchasing a new one (about $900.00 for the part).
