I would like to see all the members who have trimmed their front bumpers to allow flex without rubbing. Just a cheap easy way to create more room. Please show me some pics...

Awesome! This kind of gives me an idea of what I need to do to mine. I wheel mine, but not that often enough to get armor even though I want one so bad!! I like how yours looks snow junky! Did you just take some of the front bumper off completely instead of cutting?

I trimmed both sides of the plastic valance.....

Naw man he just removed the whole plastic valance on the front bumper. I think that looks really good. What tire size are you or planning to run?

I just got my 285's with 1.5" spacers. I hammered the pinch weld flat but upon flexing it will rub slightly on the front bumper as well.

Awesome now that's what I was looking for!!! I have the Fat Lip style which I really don't like... Looks like the runner got punched in her mouth... But hey you should see the other truck! LMAO... Do you have a head on shot of this bumper so I can get a better look?

Fightman80 that runner is clean as hell! I love it! I just like that style bumper better for some reason. It just looks cleaner to me...

33's. When it rubbed I'd look at the plastic to see if it was that, then attack with a utility knife. It cuts very easily and I just followed the flow of the bumper. After a few times no more valance rub.

Thanks! Love them lots. They don't get easily scratched up on rocks like the taco wheels I have on the 99 do because of their inwardness.

Your truck looks great with them on! I was contemplating on getting those versus my stock split spoke with spacers... Are those custom splash guards too I spot?

I'm never going near another spacer again, am sticking with adapters. The truck requires them to clear the Tundra brakes and upper a-arm. No frame rub too. If I remember right the backspacing on the split spokes and the land cruiser rims are the same or very close, so if you need spacer/adapters on one, you'll need it on the other, too.
Don't laugh too hard, that's conveyer belting and some aluminum scraps I had laying around. I got the idea from another forum member. The mustard tin I used to fix the mooing though, that one is mine.
