CV Axle Angles

I'm curious if my cv axle angles are similar to others with the same setup. I have an '06 V8 with the XREAS suspension. I'm @ 92k so I don't expect the struts to be as firm as they were new, just curious overall. I've replaced numerous XREAs systems in the past (on other vehicles), but only due to leakage, rather than out of mileage/PM. Vehicle rides as if it's new, so I'm not too concerned, but more just curious if others have their angles looking like this.

For comparison, I've looked at pics of my Tacoma (while in stock form) and notice the angles of the axle to the hub were practically a right angle (90 degrees). On the 4runner, they definitely are not a 90 degree as you can tell by the fin boots.

My 05 v8 w 100k that I just bought looks the same way original sispension. Nearly rides on the front bumps. Planning on replacing all the suspension with next month's bonus check.

Funny note, when I took it to get smoged, the place listed it as 1" lowered in the front! That should tell you something...

mine look the same on my 06. its nice, they actually go up TO the tire.
so a bit of lift puts them parallel.

The stock suspension on a 4Runner has an upward angle to from the diff to the wheel hub. This is normal. As you lift the truck the axle will go to a level then to a downward angle.

Good to hear that my suspension isn't completely worn out... yet. As mentioned, I do like the fact that the angle will level out or change with a lift, but it appears not enough to rub boot fins. On the Tacoma, bilstein/Eibach lift was too great, even with the diff drop, and caused the boots to rub (which just sucks...).

On a side note, how much of you guys have inner boots that look like mine? As in, they appear "moist," but are not leaking or shooting grease out, not even enough to consider it seeping...

Thanks!
