Found out that my 03's right hand side outer CV boot 'ripped' and is leaking grease onto the axis during oil change yesterday, dealership wanted $400+ to replace it, saying that it takes time to get the axis off
Wondering how unreasonable is that pricing(i.e. how hard should I be looking elsewhere I guess) and is there anything else that you guys would recommend replace at the same time (maybe the inner CV boot as well since the rubber part is cheap)?
Would also appreciate if anyone can recommend a good place (dealer/not) for this kind of service near bay area.
Thanks a lot!
